Hey Captains 
we’ve noticed (thanks to you) that quite a few airports have been purchased but never activated — most likely by users who haven’t logged back in for a while. Meanwhile, many of you have been asking if you can buy these “abandoned” airports.
To make this process smoother, we’ve set up a new page where you can place your offers for airports that appear inactive or unclaimed:

Here’s how it works:
- You can submit your offers for any airport you believe to be abandoned (1 offer per airport max).
- If we see multiple genuine offers, we’ll reach out to the original owner to confirm whether they still wish to keep it. We will try via phone, email, letter, pigeon, fax, smoke signals, telex… all possible manners.
- If they respond and decide to sell, we’ll help facilitate the transfer through the marketplace.
This lets us gauge real interest before contacting inactive owners and helps ensure airports go to active players who will keep the skies alive

Nice idea of this project.
but once again (i dont have any airports yet) but ive a pilots that have a old inactive 2024 msfs and on simbrief and real inoperant airports. They had invested buying when was avaiable airports but for msfs be a ``real´´ flight and they follow the real time airports actives became inactive. How they will stay? They will be able to choose another airport active same category? Or they just will loose money as invested, cause in future i would like to get some airports, but ive afraid to one day become inactive the operant airport.

Besides the offers done the first day, nobody else seems interested in the airports… I was expecting more interest… I will wait another week or so, and then I will start proceeding to move one by one with the few people that made offers… I will either lock USD50 in the fiat wallet to use as a guarantee of interest (will be then returned if we fail to contact the owner in 2 weeks, or if we do contact the owner, but they don’t want to sell, or want to sell at a higher amount). If the owner decides to sell, we need to complete the transaction (which can include the 50 dollars kept on hold).

I am building the tool to put 50 dollars out of the fiat wallet on hold to proceed with the requests.
