🔔 KYC Update: Driving License Enabled + No Charges for Failed Attempts and Full Refunds Included

Hi everyone,

Here’s an important update regarding the KYC process.

Starting today, you can complete your KYC verification on SimFly using your driving license, in addition to your ID card or passport.

I also have great news: from now on, any failed KYC attempt will no longer deduct 5 USD from your balance.

Within the next 24 hours, we will also introduce a new verification logic:

  • Each user will have up to 2 failed KYC attempts at no cost.

  • On the third attempt, the system will block the verification button and ask you to contact Support, so we can guide you step by step through the correct procedure.

Of course, all users who previously had 5 USD deducted because of failed attempts will be fully refunded.
We will credit the amount back to your fiat wallet and remove the corresponding deduction entry. We hope you appreciate this update.

Summary

  1. Driving license KYC is now available.

  2. No 5 USD deduction for failed KYC attempts — deductions apply only to successful verifications.

  3. Within 24 hours, the new logic goes live: 2 failed attempts allowed; on the 3rd, Support assistance is required.

  4. All previous 5 USD deductions for failed attempts will be refunded to users’ fiat wallets.

We will update you again as soon as points 3 and 4 are fully implemented.

Should I always use facial recognition? Because I don’t have a webcam on my PC.

Hi angelo197611! I always recommend completing the KYC using your phone, because it’s much easier: you’ll use your smartphone’s camera to take the photos of your documents and the facial-recognition selfie.

Just click the icon shown by the arrow in the image.
A screen with a QR code will appear: scan it with your phone’s camera and tap the link that pops up.
From there, you can follow the entire verification process directly on your phone — quickly and without needing a webcam on your computer.

I went out but I paid 3 times and he made me pay again

Yes, as you can see, your last attempt was successful, so the -5 USD fee was applied.
As I’ve already explained in this topic, we will refund all failed attempts in the next few days.

The new logic that prevents charging failed attempts was implemented 48 hours ago; therefore, for the attempts where you were charged, the new system was not active yet. As mentioned earlier, those amounts will be refunded.

I will update this topic as soon as the operation is completed.

Hi dona2587, it hasn’t been done yet. I’ll update everyone as soon as the process is completed for all cases where the 5 usd was deducted for an unsuccessful verification. :slightly_smiling_face:
