You make me laugh man
Anyway you’ve done a awesome work ![]()
Large changelog - it is probably another extra few thousands lines of code:
SimFly Hub — Mission Intelligence (Experimental)
The largest update since the project launched
This release introduces an entirely new analytical subsystem built on top of the existing accounting engine.
Unlike traditional calculators that rely on static formulas, Mission Intelligence builds predictions directly from historical flight data and continuously improves as more flights are collected.
New Mission Intelligence Engine
- Brand new prediction engine for planned flights.
- Predicts expected PAX before departure.
- Full component-by-component income analysis.
- Statistical confidence scoring.
- Transparent prediction methodology.
- Experimental self-learning prediction model.
Historical Intelligence
- Prediction now uses your complete historical flight ledger.
- Dynamic reference matrices built automatically from historical flights.
- Aircraft Tier × Airport Tier intelligence.
- Airport reference matrix.
- Aircraft reference matrix.
- Near-history and direct-history matching.
- Intelligent statistical fallbacks.
Community Intelligence
- Optional Community Intelligence mode.
- Supplements your own data with anonymized global statistics.
- Community influence decreases automatically as your own history grows.
- Community never replaces your own data.
- Transparent contribution shown in prediction details.
Aircraft Intelligence
- Prediction for owned aircraft.
- Generic aircraft support (Tier 1–7).
- Dedicated Prediction Ledger for aircraft income.
- Owner-income prediction separated from accounting.
- Historical aircraft median prediction.
- Improved aircraft confidence model.
Airport Intelligence
- Airport ownership to be set by user (if system airport - disable prediction for DEP and ARR)
- Airport prediction based on airport tier.
- Historical airport intelligence.
- Weekly bonus prediction.
- Independent departure and arrival analysis.
- Improved handling of sparse historical data.
Licence Intelligence
- Historical licence median prediction.
- Weekly eligibility verification.
- Confidence-aware licence estimation.
Decision Support Workflow
- Planner redesigned into an intentional decision-support workflow.
- Added Begin Data Mining execution model.
- Eliminated unnecessary live recalculations.
- Resource-efficient prediction execution.
UI Improvements
- Completely redesigned Mission Intelligence workflow.
- Aircraft-first planner.
- Community Intelligence toggle.
- Generic aircraft selector.
- Prediction confidence indicators.
- Detailed component breakdown.
- Airport ownership indicators.
- Improved prediction transparency.
Prediction Accuracy Framework
Prediction now combines multiple evidence sources:
- Direct historical evidence
- Near historical evidence
- Reference matrices
- Community Intelligence
- Statistical fallbacks
Each prediction displays confidence based on actual evidence quality.
Internal Architecture
- Prediction engine isolated from accounting.
- No changes to:
- Income Ledger
- Income Intelligence
- Statistics
- Financial calculations
- Modular prediction subsystem.
- Designed for future expansion.
Experimental Technology
Mission Intelligence is not a hardcoded calculator.
It is a statistical prediction engine that continuously improves as the historical database grows.
Every completed flight makes future predictions more accurate.
Under the Hood
- New prediction engine
- Reference matrix generation
- Community blending engine
- Aircraft prediction ledger
- Airport prediction engine
- Confidence engine
- Weekly bonus engine
- Generic aircraft framework
- Ownership detection
- Deliberate prediction workflow
- Transparent prediction explanations
- Modular architecture for future expansion
I promised myself last one this week… but it was missing certain feature
Now prediction engine also is checking your licenses if there is timer on them and re-calculates estimation accordingly to that.
Some cosmetical tweaks as well.
Time to verify few more predictions!
And real banger for the end of the day.
Cross airport (perTier+perLevel) raw income - tool to compare upgrades in most cost effective way
it was laying on the floor - blasphemy not to pull this extra table ![]()
People often misinterpret and discard earning potential for smaller capable airports where level matters and cost to upgrade is much less. This may be very helpful.
One more interestic metric that helps making concious decision about upgrades in connection with other already available metrics in the HUB
Additionally - total income for individual airport was excluding “own flights” - that has been patched as well.
Happy weekend all ! ![]()
- Dashboard thinned down (less tiles to load)
- Tings are moved to small pop-out tiles next to the pilot avatar
- Changelog also on request
Those QOL should improve laoding times
I think it is actually full 1.0 release - all works fine no bugs (at least i cant see them anymore).
A call to pilots - why I made hub in the first place?
Well I am not really one that only flies to premium airports and nothing else matters - basically hub Alliance feature greatly helps me to understand which of pilots I owe a visit.
Even system here promotes premium destinations its not obligation to use it that way. I basically “replied” to my visitors with at least the same or more flights back actually (if they own an airport). And I am not looking only on those on the summit - folks in the lower row got some arrivals as well. Rest assured one of my planes will come to you if you visit ![]()
Saying that - there is common misconception about airports of lower tiers but high levels. Trust me T2L7 pays as much as T4L2 - it only has less slots.
If you hesitate if I will fly back to your airport when its set up to 20% - try me (if I can fly to system airports I can do that for any member airport as well).
List of tools are very decent - lots of analytical layers that actually helps to understand where it is worth to fly… but again to WHO it is worth to fly - I already know who re-visits or not.
For me it is actually more of a community tool than Personal one now when its feature complete.
Yes it takes one flight to see all heavy duty statistics and prediction but that takes 1 flight that benefits both you and me so there is no problem at all.
See you in the HUB! ![]()
Congratulations and thank you very much. I’ve never seen so many details in one go. There are so many details that I’m studying it patiently. It’s a really good program. Even though I don’t understand what Backfill Admin is for, thanks, Shill. You’re very good, you’re very good.
Backfill is a one-time process that imports your complete SimFly history the first time you use the Hub.
It imports:
- Airports
- Aircraft
- Flight history
After the initial import, everything is stored in the Hub’s database.
This means the Hub doesn’t have to repeatedly query the SimFly API every time you open a page, which significantly reduces API traffic, database load and hosting costs. It also allows me to run much heavier analytics than would otherwise be possible.
From that point on, only new flights are synchronized automatically, so you never have to think about it again.
Glad you like it, @Symonx6!
