60% and Premium renewal

Hello Pilots, captains, @Karim-CTO-SimFly,

There is a situation I’d like to discuss, and see if we can kind find some solutions.

When a Premium membership expires, or is renewed, all the assets of the owner are automaticaly set back to 20%… and most time the owner is not even aware.

As for airplane rental, people see the % before renting, so this is not a problem.
But for Airports it’s a real issue. You fly to an airport you use to fly there to get 60%, but today you get only 20%, just because the owner renewed (or not) his premium membership.

for example, today KILT and RKTN were set back at 20%

What are your ideas of what could be done for that ?

  • to automatically maintain 60% when renewing.
  • to inform Premium member few days before it expires, and so he needs to renew (mainly for yearly subscription I guess)
  • to inform owners when Split % are automatically changed back to 20% ( an email to the owner could be easy)
  • to inform other pilots that the split % recently changed ( such a pop up message when starting the mission - or displaying some basic info when selecting an airport in the mission preparation such, the owner, the category, the level and the %)

It din’t happen yet to myself as I subscribed with the yearly plan and never renewed yet, not even sure if it’s automtic (charged on my credit card recorded) or need to process manually - especially i hope to pay next time with the Fiat wallet - But as pilot on other airports, I was victim of this issue many times

Hello @Benoit0211,

Thank you for your message.

Regarding the reminder emails, I can confirm that we have now activated them. From now on, users should receive an email notification five days before their subscription renewal date, reminding them to check their selected payment method and ensure that sufficient funds are available to keep airport and aircraft revenue sharing settings active. This was the first quick improvement we were able to implement.

For subscriptions purchased through the Fiat Wallet, early manual renewal and automatic renewal are not yet available. We are currently evaluating these options and hope to improve this process in the coming days to make subscription management clearer and easier for everyone.

Regarding the map, we are working on several improvements in our development environment, partly thanks to the valuable suggestions provided by Kyndra. Our goal is to display more useful information directly on the map, including revenue sharing percentages and other details that may be important for pilots. This will take a bit more time, but it is already actively being developed.

I also find your idea of displaying this information during mission preparation very interesting. For example, when an airport is selected or recognized, it could be useful to immediately see whether the revenue sharing percentage is set to 20%, 60%, or another value. This is something that could potentially be implemented more quickly.

Your ideas are always welcome, and we are seriously evaluating these improvements.

Thank you for your feedback and suggestions.
