The inserted flight plan exceeds the range of the selected airplane (Airbus A350-900 - maximum range: ~8100 NM). isnt the range more then that? and is this new with a warning telling us i cant fly longer seems strange?
also using a350-900ULR how does that work when its ranged to 8.100NM
The range limit was announced also in the videos..
And of course it could be varied within a certain range.. there are many aspects that determine if a plane can really reach his maximum range. Its easier with a perfect weather or maybe even though a flight plan can be set with passengers, within the sim I can remove all passengers in order to weight less and be able to reach more miles. But I think the range set now can surely be modified a bit.
ah okay yeah could i could stretch the a350 too 9000nm plus
Hi JakeF5,
We’d like to clarify that if you notice any discrepancies in the maximum range of an aircraft on SimFly, please don’t hesitate to report it to us. We’ll promptly carry out the necessary checks and make any required adjustments.
In the meantime, we’re already looking into it and will keep you updated shortly. Thanks again for your report!
I can confirm that, following the necessary analysis, we have updated the maximum range of the Airbus A350-900 from 8,100 NM to 9,500 NM.
Thank you once again for your collaboration! If you notice any further discrepancies on other aircraft, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Thanks heaps for this, also sorry to be a pain is it the same for the a350-1000?
appreciate it
The A350-1000 holds more passengers so the range is less.
As the web info explains: The A350-1000’s range is slightly less than the A350-900 primarily, due to its increased size and weight. While the -1000 variant boasts more powerful engines and a higher seating capacity, the extra weight from the lengthened fuselage and larger capacity necessitates more fuel for the same distance, reducing its range compared to the -900
actual the 1000 has a longer range then the 900,
A350-900: 15,000 km / 8,100 nautical miles.
A350-900ULR: 18,000 km / 9,700 nautical miles.
A350-1000: 16,100 km / 8,700 nautical miles.
At the moment i think simfly recognizes two models
A350-900 and a350-1000,
so in order to include the a350-900url for those who has it, i suppose they decided to join a350-900 and a350-900url range miles. If you fly with the 1000 that should have 8,700 miles you get that range its his range anyway. If you use the a350-900 that has 8,100 you get the range of tge a350-900url range. At least for now is kind of a gift until maybe it will be introduced a new variant. But in any case the 1000 has his correct range 8,700NM
