DC-6 Strobe Light Detection Issue During Taxi-In

Hello,

We would like to report a recurring issue when operating the Douglas DC-6.

During our operations, even when we correctly switch the strobe lights off and wait more than one minute after runway exit before performing the Taxi In, the system still reports an error related to strobe lights and deducts 2 points.

This behavior appears to indicate that the system is not correctly detecting the strobe light status on the DC-6.

Our standard lighting procedure is as follows:

  • During flight:
    Strobe lights set to STROBE

  • After landing and before entering the taxiway:
Strobe lights switched from STROBE to STEADY

  • At engine start (before taxi):
    Lights set to STEADY

  • Before entering the runway for takeoff:
    Landing lights ON
    Transponder ON
Lights switched from STEADY to STROBE

  • After landing:
Strobe lights switched back to STEADY before exiting the runway
We also wait more than one minute before performing the Taxi In

Despite following this correct procedure, the system consistently generates a strobe light error and deducts points.

Request:
Please verify and correct the strobe light detection logic for the DC-6, as it appears that the system does not properly recognize when the strobes are switched off or set to steady.

Thank you for your support.
