It would be interesting if, in the active mission monitoring, just like it shows the remaining distance to your destination, it also provided an estimated time of arrival based on your current speed or the average speed throughout the entire route.
That could be nice to have. It’s obviously estimated, as i suppose that “line”, distance, is a straight direct line, right? Anyway could be interesting .

Yes, that’s how it works in the real world — at least in global applications like Flightradar24. It’s not necessary to check the current flight plan in the avionics to access real-time online data. The estimated time for a direct (or straight-line) flight is what’s typically used as the reference.
