Okay, I bought a plane and registered it, but I can’t fly it. I tried to rent it out, but it says I can’t rent out my own aircraft. What should I do?
Hello @Selpheed.
Try the Unrestricted Flight mission. You should be able to select your airplane from the pulldown menu.
You can’t rent your own aircraft (as you have discovered). Renting is if you want to allow others to use your aircraft.
To fly with it, you choose it when you fly in the Unrestricted Flight mission.
hi! my licence is for junior cadets, i dont have acess to unrestricted flight missions. isn´t there another way?
I recommend reaching out to support (Open Ticket) to see if they can help.
Yes, the Junior license is limited to rental flights only so you can’t use the plane; open a ticket and try to get a refund in pax and buy a regular licence first, since you bought it directly from simfly I think they could help you out.
By the way. Hoping you will find a solution.
I would always recommend to READ the wiki first, especially when real money are involved.
It’s in the Wiki
Important to note:
-
The Junior Pilot License can only be purchased by users who do not own any other licenses
-
It cannot be purchased more than once by the same account, nor can it be resold on the Marketplace
-
The only available flight mission are Test Pilot and Airplane Rental
-
Manual relocations of the Junior Pilot License do not require the use of PAX tokens, unlike the Standard Pilot License
Well, I think some important information should come BEFORE you make a purchase. Besides, there’s no warning like “Read the wiki before buying something.” That doesn’t make sense.
Hi Selpheed,
we understand your point of view and thank you for the feedback.
On the Junior Pilot License purchase page, the main details and limitations of the license are already clearly shown before completing the purchase. If, however, some information appears unclear or incomplete, thank you for pointing it out: we will review the feedback internally and make the necessary changes to ensure the information is clearer and more complete.
We are here to continuously improve, also thanks to feedback from the community.
If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please open a support ticket so our team can review your case in detail.
Thank you.
We’ve just seen that you’ve already opened a support ticket. We’ll reply to you there. Thank you
Karim, thank you for your response, and I would like to make it clear that I find the SimFly concept fantastic and I want it to soar higher.
I learned about the project through a friend who has been flying here for years and recommended it to me. My observation is to help future users avoid frustration with this type of problem and to encourage them to recommend it to their friends.
Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words and for the feedback, as mentioned in the previous message. Thanks to this, we are already applying some interface improvements.
It’s possible that some information may be taken for granted by us, as well as by more experienced users, whom we thank for their participation in this topic and for helping new users. That said, we will update the section by adding as much information as possible.
Thank you again for your contribution.
