I want to share my honest opinion about the recent updates

I understand that SimFly needs ways to keep the economy balanced and to burn more PAX, but I don’t think adding a 20% fee to marketplace sales is the right way to do it. Since I joined the platform, most of the changes I’ve seen feel like they mainly benefit SimFly and the platform itself, but not really the pilots, users, or people who are actively investing time and money into the ecosystem.

If the goal is to burn more PAX, I honestly think a better solution would be to bring back the 50% market discounts more often. Every time SimFly runs a 50% discount, the PAX market gets emptied fast. People spend their PAX, assets move, and users stay active. That feels like a much better and healthier way to reduce PAX in the system without making users feel punished for selling or trading.

Adding a 20% fee on marketplace sales may sound good from an economy-control point of view, but from the user side, it feels unfair. It makes it harder for users to recover value from assets they already paid for, and it may discourage new users from joining or investing more into the platform.

I really think SimFly should take a step back and think carefully about how these decisions could affect the future of the platform. The users are the ones keeping the platform alive. If too many changes feel one-sided, many people may eventually lose interest or leave.

This is not meant as hate. I’m saying this because I care about the platform and want to see it grow in a way that feels fair for both SimFly and the community.

Loyal to Simfly for 18 months, I participated in the purchase a lot of assets because I believed in the project. But every update makes me think more and more…
