Investigation in Progress on PAX Earnings After Latest Deploy

Hi everyone,
we’ve noticed a reduction in PAX Token earnings from activities performed on SimFly following today’s major deploy.
Please note that this was not an intentional change. We’re currently investigating the cause of this reduction and will share an update as soon as we have more information.

Thanks for the information!

But for this occasion, I’d like to propose this: how about publishing the method for calculating flight fees, in all its parts, on the Wiki? This, in addition to the undeniable complete transparency, would allow users to plan flights to maximize profits and, on the other hand, would allow the “SimFly system” to obtain greater commission income deriving from the increased earnings of users when they withdraw in fiat currency. And we’d all be happier :innocent:

Hi Alfalima17,
this was a development we had originally planned for a later stage, after the more critical features, but if you believe it’s truly necessary at this point, we can move it forward.

We could therefore create an interactive calculator on the Wiki where users can manually enter:

  • the Pilot License Rank

  • the Pilot License Level

  • the Pilot License Timers

  • the Aircraft Model

  • the Aircraft Level

  • the Aircraft Profit Split

  • the Total Flight Score

  • the Total Landing Score

  • any Profit Split with airports (departure and arrival)

  • the Airport Level and Category (departure and arrival)

  • the Available Take-off/Landing slots (departure and arrival)

  • any Milestone Flight

  • the Mission Type

  • the Flight Duration

  • the Miles Flown

  • and other relevant parameters

If you agree, I can officially propose this implementation.
However, please note that it may cause some delays in the roadmap, but if you consider it urgent, useful, and strategic, we can move forward.
Let me know if you’d like me to proceed with the proposal, and I’ll keep you updated on the progress.

If you believe it’s necessary, we can proceed with the development.
However, I want to clarify that this isn’t a matter of transparency — if calculating PAX earnings were simply a matter of flying from A to B, we would have made it public from day one.
I do understand your needs, and I’ll wait for your feedback so we can move forward accordingly.

Thanks, Karim.

Let me thank you so much for your generous support. I sincerely believe that the idea, and the way you described your intention to implement it, adds significant value to the entire SimFly project, in many ways. Of course, to implement it optimally, you’ll need to take all the time necessary to ensure everything runs smoothly. I hope the entire SimFly community likes the idea, but I honestly can’t see any downsides. Thanks again.

Lastly, although we’ve already spoken positively about it, I’d like to take this opportunity to highlight the implementation of the CSV file for all assets. From then on, users will have everything they need, including the flight calculator, to navigate SimFly with greater awareness, both strategically and otherwise.

Thank you so much!
Sounds great — I’ll keep you updated about this new feature that we’ll move forward with.

Of course, I’ve already noted that

There is likely an issue with PAX distribution, for both Airport and Airplane wise. I would even say that License as well. If you look on two screen shots below, for the same Route (Cat 4 to Cat 4 airport) with a Cat 6 airplane, rental mission. Old flight was rated 100/80, today flight got a smaller revenue even with a better score 94/90.

Flight done November 12. (019a788b-bdc6-7d4a-b5d5-096bf795c028)

Flight done May 29. (01971d8b-28fe-7467-9fa2-e5f26afa06f2)

The calculator could be really handy, but the effort required to create it shouldn’t come at the expense of more important priorities. In any case, simply understanding how each factor is accounted for would already provide valuable context and help set more reasonable expectations for the likely XP and PAX outcomes of a given flight.

Yes, as already mentioned in this topic, we’re aware of the issue that appeared after the deploy.
We’re working to fix it — thank you for the report, and we’ll let you know as soon as it’s resolved.

I agree a calculator would be handy - but not at the expense of completing the user marketplace.

Once aircraft and airports have been fully implemented in the user marketplace, the calculator sounds like a great follow-on effort.

Hi everyone,
the issue detected after the November 12 deploy at 13Z — which caused reduced PAX Token rewards and problems with license and aircraft selection during missions — has been resolved.
The system is now fully operational, and everything should be working normally again.
Please let us know if you still encounter any issues.
Thank you all for your patience and cooperation!

Greetings!

Today I noticed that my registration in the licensing system has disappeared.
