Linux Client Support (Fedora) – Any Plans or Timeline?

Hello SimFly Team,

First of all, thank you for the great service and the ongoing improvements to the client!

I’m a Linux user (Fedora) running X-Plane 12 natively, and I really enjoy SimFly. However, the current Windows-only client makes it difficult to use without workarounds like Wine (which often fails due to the missing native Linux plugin).

I saw in the AMA that Linux (and Mac/Xbox) support is being considered based on community demand and votes. Could you please share if a native Linux client (or at least a Linux-compatible plugin for X-Plane) is currently planned? If yes, is there any rough timeline or ETA?

Many Linux simmers would love to participate fully — increasing votes or demand from us could help prioritize it!

Thank you in advance for any update, and keep up the excellent work.

Best regards,
