Modification of the Aircraft Tail Number

I’m interested in changing the tail number of my aircraft. When I acquired my first one, before the entire system was up and running, I rushed to assign it my usual tail number, thinking it could be changed later on within the system. However, I haven’t found a way to do it.

Now that I’m planning to put this aircraft up for sale once the marketplace is operational, I realize I will lose my tail number and won’t be able to use it on the aircraft I actually intend to keep permanently.

Therefore, I kindly request the possibility to make this change, at least once, so I can assign the tail number as I’d like.

I have the livery ready to my plane and I would like it will be the same in simfly. I love that little details :wink:

I think it’s especially necessary when buying a used aircraft from the marketplace—everyone will want to assign their own registration or follow the format of their country. That’s what’s realistic.

@MaNaZaS This is something we will roll out, as it is necessary for the user marketplace (surely people don’t want to buy an airplane from another user and keep the other user vanity tail number!), so yes, will come soon, before you will be able to sell it!

OK but it should be able to change to on my own planes. In my own case I set my favorite tail name on my fisrt plane. But aftis you send a new model. My fovourite plane on sims. And now I cant set this my tail number

It is possible (once the func is rolled out): you will need to change the vanity number from the plane it is in that moment, change it for something else, then 5 minutes of panic hoping nobody takes it, and then you go apply it to the other airplane.
