I won’t be participating in the “Ultra Europe 2025” event, as the airport in question doesn’t offer any benefits. I won’t be flying for free.
I suppose this user is one of those that have temporarily abandoned simfly for some reason.. this user has 18 pages of assets and didn’t fly once.
Hey Charata, I’m actually doing that flight right now from ENKB, which has a 60% bonus.
Even if the destination doesn’t offer anything, it’s still a good excuse to boost the XP of some airport.
If you’re up for it, I can share the route on Discord.
Also — the departure from ENKB is absolutely stunning!
Good morning, my friend Charata. I’m sorry to disagree with you.
First of all, let me point out that the majority of milestones take place at airports without an owner and therefore offer no profit for the pilot.
Even if the airport had an active owner — which is not the case — it is perfectly legitimate that, in a situation like this, you choose not to pay the pilot anything and take advantage of the event.
The event is already giving you extra pax and experience, and if you use an airport with a 60% bonus as either the origin or destination, you’ll still earn a good profit.
On the other hand, I’d like to remind you that for all of us to enjoy a 60% profit share, the owner had to purchase that airport — which is not cheap — and also pay for the premium membership. So demanding that they also give us 60% of their own earnings seems very selfish to me. Of course, you’re free to fly wherever you like, but making a statement like that publicly, I think, leaves you far too exposed.
Comments like that will only lead to 60% airports disappearing, and once there are none left, you’ll have no choice but to fly at 0% wherever you go.
I’m not trying to scold you with this — just hoping to open up your way of thinking.
Really very, very strange.
18 pages of assets… licenses, airplanes, airports… What is that? And no use. And this case is not the only one.
I’m sorry, but again, I understand this is a free market and everyone is free to do what they want, but these kinds of manoeuvres are not “normal”. How much did you spend on all that? Even if you’re only using 50% of it.
For me, this raises a lot of doubts… What’s the intention behind it?
Honestly, I think SimFly should have monitored or controlled such massive actions.
you guess wrong… successes
