Hi is there a limit to how long you can pause the sim for i get that you lose points for pausing just wondering if there is a limited time you can pause for cause if i have a flight going on while im at work and the sim is paused for more then an hour
Pauses are permitted up to a cumulative maximum of 15 minutes for the entire duration of the flight.
If i need to go away for more time, i usually land at the nearest airport. I might loose a destination bonus, but I have fun simulating a diversion.

what if you go over the 15mins say over an hour? what happens?
If things haven’t changed, flight is canceled.. it happened to me months ago.

what happens if the power goes out and I have to restart my PC? how do I restart from where I stopped while I was in flight? do you know any techniques to do this? or do I have to cancel the flight? I only have 15 minutes to get back to where I was before.
If the power returns 
.. you have 15 minutes to position where you were, but pay attention to open the SimFly client ONLY after you started back the flight. Otherwise client will see that you are on main menu of simfly and will cancel your flight. (My simfly client starts when msfs starts, so i need to close it manually, and then reposition my self where I was, if on flight or at parking area. But you might encounter some penalties, be aware that you need to position your self pretty close, orher wise it will consider a spawn movement and cancel flight)
Honestly as it happens so little, I rather restart the whole flight again..
