I see some pilots assuming “PAX” means “passengers”.
While that is a common abbreviation, PAX does not mean passengers within the SimFly platform.
It’s just an unfortunate coincidence.

Hi Kyndra,
I don’t think it’s a coincidence. Indeed, i beleive they named the Simfly’s money with the unit the most related to quantify results from air travel : the number of passengers.
As for exemple, latest message of Nicostan, he used “passengers” fro “PAX”. I don’t think Nicostan make the mistake, but his translanting tool does, as most probbaly the original message was written in his language and translated.
I exchanged some private message to Spanish or Italian speaking players, in their language, translated with google, and I had this issue, it always translated “PAX” to “passengers.”
A team member told me directly he regretted the choice to name the utility currency “PAX Token” because it is assumed to mean “passengers”.
Indeed PAX is a common abbreviation for passengers in English and thus I can understand why translation tools would make this mistake.
If pax would mean passengers then it means that for a flight I would have transported 3,23 passengers???
joking..
