POSTING HERE so others can mention if they have seen something strange on their end as well:
I’ve been noticing a recurring issue with pilot licenses when you fly before the 84-hour timer has fully expired, and I think I’ve finally figured out what’s causing it.
What happened:
On this license (screenshot attached), I flew the last 2h30m yesterday while the 84-hour countdown was still running. After my flight, both available timers showed 00:00 (earn pax) - which is correct and the 84-countdown was still running, close to 0.
However, when the 84-hour countdown finally hit zero, only the 84-hour timer reset. The 24-hour timer did not reset, leaving me unable to fly that initial 2h30m.
Root cause (as best I can tell):
This seems to happen specifically when you fly on a license 24 hours just before the 84 hour expires. It’s worth noting that the timer never expired during a flight.
Expected behavior (from my understanding):
Both the 24h and 84h timers should reset when the 84-hour countdown expires. In my case, this license should be showing 2h30m available in the 24-hour slot, but it’s stuck at 00:00.
Has anyone else run into this? Would appreciate if @Karim-CTO-SimFly could look into it!
Or do I misunderstand this and we should NEVER fly the last 24hours (prior to the 84hrs)?
**EDIT:** I tried doing a flight, to see if I would get the 2h30, but got 0pax.. however the timer for 84 hours started!!
