Simfly Virtual Airline

I’m writing this post especially for Paolo Italiano, a flight simulation expert, and Karim. Guys! Shall we start this virtual airline, Simfly? With a beautiful livery, the slogan “Fly and earn more” written on the sides? Flying together on Ivao and Vatsim? The FSHUB website can easily be used to create the airline. Why waste any more time? This could increase the number of simmers on Simfly. I’ve been saying this for a long time, but I always get a silence. I look forward to your feedback. Thanks.

Of course it also works on MSFS 2024 for example I fly for a domestic company called Skyfriend, but I want to see the virtual airline SIMFLY virtual Airlines

Ciao Ale, I agree, I mentioned it a few weeks ago. It’s the best advertising we can do, and it’s free; it takes very little. It needs to be organized by the administrators, not done individually, which is possible, as I’ve verified that at IVAO you can even fly with a made-up callsign.

I agree with the proposal... when air traffic controllers hear the callsign SimFly445... they're going to wonder what that is?... when other pilots hear SimFly952 on frequency, they're going to wonder what that is too! Advertising enters through the ears and the eyes. I also fly for a national airline called LAPA Va (Líneas Aéreas Privadas Argentinas) that existed in my country; we honor it in the air.🧿🙋‍♂️🧉👍🏼⚽🏆🏆🏆

On ivao if you add CS/SIMFLY on the FPL Other information section the controllers will have the radio callsign SIMFLY displayed on the traffic strip.

Creating a Virtual Airline on IVAO and VATSIM is a fantastic strategy to bring more users to the platform and boost overall engagement.

As an active IVAO pilot, I would definitely be using and flying for it on my operations. It adds a great layer of immersion and gives network pilots a strong reason to integrate SimFly into their regular routines.

Really hope this proposal gains traction and gets implemented! :rocket:

We have startet to spool up a “Simfly VA” on NewSky… We cvan Fly there with the SFY Callsign.
The big big big advantage is the NewSky Traffic Injector. So every SimFly VA Pilot can see each other!!
Maybee this is a great way for us.
If somebody iss interested join Newsky

Here, everyone has their own opinion and everyone uses a different platform. Some people use FsHub, some use IVAO or VATSIM, some use Newsky, and it’s a huge, confusing mess. The result is that no one sees each other in flight. I personally asked the AI which platform is the most used? And it answered VOLANTA because, globally, it unites more pilots of various nationalities. I would like to understand what your main goal is? To see each other in flight in real time? To form virtual airlines? Of course, if everyone uses a different platform, you will never find each other.

I could build something like that on my HUB platform (actually evloution of functions I alraedy have for a specific need).

  • Rooster
  • Live Map of flights for Simfly HUB airline
  • Timetable (Operations table)
  • Various statistics (hours/milage/airplanes)
  • Most popular routes
  • (…)

If there’s need for it. I agree with Symonx6 if its all over its nowhere.

Hi guys, however for me, a VA Airlines like this doesn’t make sense, as I proposed it, it must be an airline like all the others having visibility with Simfly liveries on IVAO and VATSIM, maybe using FSHUB to build the VA, because a company where no one sees us on IVAO and VATSIM is useless, between us if we want to see each other it is enough to place the mouse on the Simfly map

i don't use Simfly liveries because they are incompatible with MSFS 2024.</span>

It would be nice to see each other within the sim while flying.

but it does not help to grow Simfly, I repeat, you have to fly online on IVAO and VATSIM with Simfly livery visible, other pilots must see the Simfly livery, for me this makes sense

I wasn’t thinking about the “business” matter, just the “fun” part… . It’s just my way of flying a sim. For me, If I had to follow the rules of VATSIM or IVAO and really “simulate” all the aspects of the aviation world except from the “physical” part, I would have dedicated my life on being a real pilot in the real world. For me, it’s only my personal point of view of course, the most important thing in “flying” is not being able to follow procedures, learn the different avionics involved and so on, but is the “feeling” you have when you are all alone in the air, even if you attended a group flight with your friends in a sort of formation, and you “feel” the flight, the air around you, the unknown of what you might find ahead during a flight, a sudden weather change, an issue with the electric or hydraulic system. Its one of the few activities where you are fully responsible of you actions and can cost your entire life. I use the sim just to remember those feelings. Try to replicate those moments. Don’t care on trying to earn as much as I can. I would have expected a more “interactive”, instead of making a 3, 6 or even 10 hour flight without doing nothing in between, where you are not even responsible of conducting a flight, or having real people on board that count on you. in fact it’s a game, a simulation and that’s all. :vulcan_salute:

I think it’s a great idea.

Yes, but you must not forget one important thing: Simfly is the only platform in the simulation world created in this way that also makes you earn real money. It is important that it must grow, like all companies. You cannot remain static, otherwise you close, you have to move forward. Simfly is a small company. There are those who have invested real money. If someone just wants a platform as a game, of which I have played many, Simfly cannot be this. Like many platforms where you only earn money by pretending, it must grow by force!

Yes, it’s true, it happens to me too, many times, that while I’m flying, on the world map of Sim Fly in front of me I see another player’s plane, while on the simulator I don’t see it. If I open the simulator’s iPad on the map, there is no invisible player… this also happens to me on Volanta, yet it’s strange, we are all tuned into the same simulator, but in multiplayer we can’t see each other.

I understand the commercial part of simfly, I honestly joined simfly “business part” at the beginning not to earn by flying, but was most interested in the earning aspect of assets (airplane and airports) , including the NFT aspect. In fact I keep on flying on other platforms that “give me” some “tasks” and objectives in order to fly for a more “honorable” reason than just going from A to B.

Unfortunately, Simfly is nothing like FSEconomy. They are two different platforms, and Simfly is the only one that uses real money, unlike the others that use virtual money. Running an airline with Simfly involves fixed routes, which is very tedious. Always flying the same route is very tedious, and it requires teamwork with percentages divided among each airline operator. It also requires managerial work on the part of the company’s head manager, who must own the fleet and possess airport permits. He or she must also have jobs to do for those who want to work there. All of this is demanding and burdensome to manage. I’m already too busy on the computer twice a week to book flights, and I can’t take on this commitment.
