Hello SimFly Community! ![]()
I am absolutely thrilled to share a huge personal milestone with all of you today: I have officially acquired my first airport! This is a massive step for me, and hopefully, the first of many to come. I couldnât be happier to start this new administrative journey with Leticia - Alfredo VĂĄsquez Cobo International Airport (SKLT).
Why fly to Leticia?
For those who havenât had the pleasure of flying into SKLT, you are in for a spectacular visual treat. Located in the extreme south of Colombia, Leticia is the beating heart of the Amazon rainforest. The approaches here are breathtaking, offering endless views of the lush, vibrant jungle canopy and the mighty Amazon River. Itâs not just an airport; itâs a gateway to an incredibly rich culture and one of the most biodiverse regions on the planet.
Airport Details & Pilot Perks:
I want to make Leticia a highly profitable and active hub for everyone who visits, which is why Iâm offering top-tier conditions for all pilots:
-
Pilot Profit Split: A massive 60%!
I want to ensure that every pilot who supports this new hub is generously rewarded. -
Runway: 2,100 meters (6,890 ft) of wide asphalt. Itâs in perfect condition and ready to handle your daily operations.
-
Category: Category 3.
-
Current Status: We are currently at Level 2, but with your traffic and support, we are pushing hard to upgrade to Level 3 very soon!
I am officially inviting all of you to set your flight plans to SKLT. Whether you are doing quick regional hops or bringing in heavier aircraft, there is a spot for you on our apron.
Letâs make the Colombian Amazon one of the most active destinations in South America. Bring your fleets, enjoy the stunning jungle views, and enjoy that 60% payout!
Engines on, and Iâll see you on my airport! ![]()
