This is a massive step for me, and hopefully, the first of many to come. I couldnât be happier to start this new administrative journey with Leticia - Alfredo VĂĄsquez Cobo International Airport (SKLT).

The approaches here are breathtaking, offering endless views of the lush, vibrant jungle canopy and the mighty Amazon River. Itâs not just an airport; itâs a gateway to an incredibly rich culture and one of the most biodiverse regions on the planet.

To make your flight planning even smoother and your experience more realistic, I want to share some details about arriving at Leticia! Flying into the Amazon requires good preparation, and SKLT offers some fantastic procedures to test your pilot skills.
Available Approaches: Get ready to enjoy scenic and immersive approaches over the dense jungle canopy and the Amazon River!
You can fly both RNP and VOR approaches.
These procedures are available for both Runway 03 and Runway 21, giving you great flexibility depending on the wind conditions.
