Is it true, that Student JR Licences arent available anymore, and new User have to start with the Cadet Licence???
I suppose so. With the opening of the users marketplace, you can get a leveled up license and save time to let grow.
oh no………. this has killed the possibility for users to join SimFly with small costs.
……
We have talked about this today in our twitch stream, and we are unnable to find the Jr licences….
Baaaaaaaaaad Idea …
… so… i have to add:
Nobody, involved in the discussion today, was ready to invest more than 100$/PAX/EUR for a “try” of SimFly. I guess they would buy a Jr licence…..
Realy bad to involve new users….
We will delete “SimFly” from our stream title……. ![]()
Hi! As we’ve explained on several occasions, the purchase of the Junior License has not been permanently disabled.
Below is a transparent explanation of the logic behind how the Pilot Junior License is managed on SimFly. It may sound complex, but it’s actually very simple.
Within the system, there are two licenses sold directly by the SimFly Bank Marketplace:
-
Standard License – 79 PAX/USD
-
Junior License – 10 USD (with the limitation that it cannot be resold, can only perform certain missions, and generates PAX exactly like the Standard License)
When we launched the User Marketplace, the Junior License was temporarily removed for a specific reason.
If it were always available for 10 USD, many more new users would join SimFly — and this would directly benefit SimFly, since those 10 USD would go to the SimFly Bank and not to you users, while also increasing the number of active players (something we are fully aware of).
However, such immediate entry at a very low cost would generate a large amount and circulation of PAX Tokens in the system without going through the User Marketplace, and this is a very delicate aspect we must monitor carefully.
The key point is that if the Junior License were permanently available, new users would start flying and generating PAX Tokens right away, without first needing to buy PAX in the User Marketplace.
This would reduce selling opportunities and earnings for users who list PAX Tokens or advanced licenses, negatively affecting marketplace activity and community earnings.
When will the Junior License return?
The Junior License will be reactivated only in specific situations, when we observe that:
-
the circulation of PAX Tokens in the system is low, or
-
the User Marketplace has higher demand than supply, meaning very few PAX Tokens or license listings are available.
In these scenarios, making the Junior License available again helps to:
-
bring in many more new users than usual,
-
increase the overall generation of PAX Tokens in the system.
Over the past few days, we’ve indeed identified this situation, and we are already planning a new window during which the Junior License will be available again — likely already this week — for a limited period.
In the future, it will be reintroduced whenever we detect an imbalance between supply and demand or reduced PAX circulation in the system, and we will always notify the entire community in advance.
In short, the Junior License is one of the tools we use to regulate the circulation of PAX Tokens in the system.
-
When there are too few PAX in circulation, we activate it to quickly bring in a larger number of new users.
-
When there are already plenty of PAX in the system, we temporarily remove it from the market.
It’s never removed permanently — we simply activate or deactivate it depending on what’s needed to keep the system balanced.
I hope this explanation is clear — if you have any further questions, feel free to ask.
You can still fly with test pilot mission, no cost at all. So you can understand better how simfly evolve.
