I cant see the purpose of the sub xp levels. For example the pilot license is at Cadet lvl1 and you have to get to lvl10 to be able to upgrade to student in which again this starts at lvl1. What’s the point of these, why cant we just have 1 xp bar per main lvl.
If each sub lvl gave you something for example an extra 2% in xp per lvl then yes it worth it but you don’t get any benefits from each sub lvl.

depression prevention. If you did a 3 hour flight and only saw the tiniest sliver of gain on your bar, you’d likely think it’ll take to long to level and wont be worth the effort. Planes and airports work that way and it’s depressingly slow. At least with the sub level progress bar it looks like you’re getting somewhere.
But it is true that the progress could be incremental… a way to recognize your step by step progress and earn incremental XPs within a category, passing through these 10 levels. Why not?
