What if we start up a sort of “club” for all the cat1 airport owners. We are mainly snubbed from other simmers, just because they prefer to stick to their “big” (fat)
airplanes. And don’t want to waste a couple of hours flying cat1 to cat4 airplanes (not even renting if not owned) in order to land on those “poor” little airfields..
. I think we should really to the same and “tour” on cat1 airports. (there shouldn’t be excuse for cat2 airports, but they are avoided also). Anyway, I could understand for those who don’t share not even the minimum 20% of share, or seems to be not active owners, because some owners don’t fly from many months or a year. But it’s easy to check, just a couple of “clicks” on the airport to see if the owner is active, so he could return the favor. Too much work? well I’ll bet a pre-flight checklist of a liner takes a lot more.
and that is all the fun they have, I mean a liner simmer pilot should feel very proud to be able to go through all the pre and post flight procedures. That is really the best part of flying a liner, because out of that, there’s nothing else, I mean flying at 25k feet or more above a field of white clouds for 10, 12 or 15 hours (even though they might be in front of a screen), doesn’t seem to be really enjoyable until you start the approach, another fun part.
So, besides this talking about liners, how could the cat1 owners unite or assemble (Marvel docet
)?
think about it.. ![]()
