User Marketplace News: Pilot Licenses

Dear SimFlyers,

Welcome to a new SimFly Weekly update.
Starting this week, the structure of our updates is changing: videos will be released only on special occasions or when major updates are announced, while you will continue to receive this weekly email newsletter with all the main news and developments.

First of all, a heartfelt thank you to our entire community for your continued support, your participation, and all the positive feedback we receive every week. Your enthusiasm is our greatest strength.

Important Announcement

As you may have noticed, Roberto will no longer be the speaker for SimFly.
We would like to thank him for his contribution and the energy he has dedicated to the project, and we sincerely wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
In the meantime, we are selecting and training a new official SimFly spokesperson who will take part in future Weekly videos — but it will take some time before they are fully ready.

NEWS – Pilot License Trading

We have officially set the release date for Pilot License trading between users within the User Marketplace: Thursday, October 30, 2025, with activation taking place between 08:00 Zulu and 13:00 Zulu.

During this time window, data synchronization and publishing will be completed across the entire platform.
We recommend not listing any Licenses for sale during this period until the official release confirmation has been posted.

In this week’s video, we will also show you a short preview of the new License exchange system — another important milestone in the evolution of SimFly’s internal economy.

NEWS – New Section in the Marketplace Bank

Another important update concerns the Marketplace Bank: the section previously marked as “Coming Soon” is now active and available.

Starting today, in all dedicated pages – Licenses, Aircraft, and Airports – users can purchase PAX Tokens directly from other users, making it easier to obtain the tokens needed to buy assets from the Bank.

This new feature makes the purchasing process more direct and dynamic, while also giving greater visibility to user sales.
Visitors to the Bank can now see all available PAX packages in real time, choose the one they prefer, and complete the purchase without leaving the section.

NEWS – “Touch and Win” Mission

In next week’s video, we’ll start sharing the first details about the new “Touch and Win” mission, which is currently in development.

NEWS – Client Update

Thanks to user reports, we identified a minor issue that could occur during very long flights, where an incorrect engine message occasionally appeared, preventing proper mission completion.

The new client version, SimFly 1.3.0, coming next week, will permanently resolve this issue.

NEW AIRCRAFT – McDonnell Douglas MD-11

A new Category 7 aircraft is now available — the McDonnell Douglas MD-11, currently offered at 50% off for a limited time.

This long-range trijet can fly over 12,000 km at a cruising speed of about 880 km/h. A powerful and reliable aircraft, ideal for intercontinental routes and for experienced pilots looking to take their virtual career to new heights.

We also invite you to watch the video, where we’ll provide clear and detailed explanations. At the end of the video, we’ll answer the most upvoted questions from the AMA section.

As always, thank you for being part of SimFly.
Your support and participation make it possible for this project to grow every single day.

See you soon with more updates — and happy flying, SimFlyers.
