@antonio.ferrara This is the first time we experienced this symptom. From the screenshot you can see that the status is still in taxi, while the plane is already at above 30k feet altitude. Even refresh won’t help. Actually, we notice that something wrong happening because we also use the Simfly Companion app, and it showed no destination, that is something weird. For this flight, I think pilot cancelled his flight because it is too risk to continue flying to the end and might not be able to finish flight. However, this is just happening for the first time, maybe there is a criteria that coincident to create such behavior. If it happens again in the future, we will open ticket then. Thank you for your sharing.
@gunslinger I wish your issues will be resolved accordingly. Cheers.
yep, that for sure is weird, I also check the LIVE DATA section on the client if it corresponds to what the website is showing. and more than once, always from the client, I sometimes click on the “tower” icon to disconect and reconnect right back.. never change API key after starting a flight ofcourse
I reviewed the video carefully and, from what I can see, you handled everything correctly. I don’t see any unusual action on your side that could explain the error.
However, on our side we can clearly see a sudden position jump/gap in the data, and we are currently investigating exactly what caused it.
Could you please send me the SimFly Client log? It would be very useful for us to compare the Client data with what was recorded on the server and determine where this unexpected position change originated.
You can send the log to us through the support ticket.
Hi Karim how are you! I already sent the log on support email.
The point of error message was on rwy to taxi(just when i enter in taxi to gate) few minutes before gate.
Hi, thanks! I hope you’re doing well too. Yes, I’ve just seen the log. We’ll analyze everything carefully to understand why this data/connection loss is happening.
It would be much easier to identify the exact cause if it happened frequently, but this issue occurs only very rarely compared to the total number of flights being processed. Your video is also very helpful, as it gives us additional confirmation of what happened.
Just to understand the images you posted..the cockpit image attacked is when you were airborne, still in flight? The popup message appeared during flight or as the last time, after landing?
so this is a different situation within the same result. A detected “jump” that diddn’t appear in real flight, but detected by client. I wonder if the same thing would happen if a close/shutdown the client and turn it back on after 5 minutes, what it would do… Staff wil for sure investigate it on it.
Yes antonio! This time different situation with same result.
I dont know what would happen if we close/shutdown the client cause i always let it open and always work.
And not in this case. but when the website was off some time ago(months ago). I thought was the client, and if you try press the reconnect on client, you will see that you loose the api key.
For my lucky on that time(months ago) i did it before fly.
but yes, lets see the staffs to investigate those cases.
